Cooking with the Beaba Babycook

Between managing her online store, Flea and Trees, juggling content creation, and taking photos of baby Alessandra, she tells us the secret to whipping up a quick and delicious meal for baby in the kitchen – the super handy Beaba Babycook!

Here are 2 recipes by Bella to get you started!

Japanese Style Tofu with Vegetable Puree

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup organic cauliflower & broccoli florets
  • 1/2 packet organic silken tofu; cut into 2cm x 2cm cubes
  • Pinch of pink himalayan salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cold pressed organic olive oil
  • 1/2 clove organic garlic

Instructions

  1. Place the florets and garlic into the Beaba steamer basket.
  2. Add water into the Babycook's tank until it reaches level 3.
  3. Begin the steaming process.
  4. Once the broccoli is cooked, remove it and add it into the blending bowl. Blend it into a thick purée.
  5. Stir in salt and oil.
  6. Place the tofu onto a plate; drizzle the purée over the tofu and serve. 

 

Organic Oatmeal with Strawberries & Chia Seeds

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cooked organic oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup organic strawberries
  • 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon blackstrap molasses (unsulphured)

Instructions

  1. Put the strawberries into the Babycook's blending bowl. Blend them into a thick purée.
  2. Add the oatmeal, chia seeds, and molasses into the 2nd blending bowl.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the strawberry purée over the blended oatmeal in a cup and serve.

Ingredients in recipes can be substituted with non-organic alternatives if you prefer.

Both of these recipes can be created on a Beaba Babycook or a Beaba Babycook Plus.
